The Original Submarine Voyage

The contest is to draw an extinct attraction from Disneyland. I chose the Submarine Voyage ride, NOT finding nemo, but the original

When the ride first opened, there were young women hired to perform as mermaids in the small lake. Video and pictures are provided below to show the mermaids.

Unfortunately, at some point, I don't know the exact year, the mermaids were removed due men jumping in the water to swim to them.

I wish they still did this, but oh well.

The original mermaids all wore uniform green suits, but I thought they were ugly, so I game them each their own color and style.

I used brushes for the plants, waterfall, and shells and stuff.

I thought it would be cute for ariel to be on the ride. And then alice just cause of the whole wonderland fad right now. And then the surprised kid was suposed to be prince eric, but I epic failed.
